Structura spent three months on the preconstruction phase of this design-build, ground up project, working with Tomorrow Planning to create the best value for our client in building the largest Sperry Drilling Services facility in the world.

The light industrial/manufacturing portion of this project features six 5-ton overhead cranes, an oil/water separator to process the facility’s waste water and two separate outbuildings for the lithium battery center and the tool calibration center. The slab for the calibration building was reinforced with fiberglass, rather than steel, to create the optimal environment for the sensitive calibration equipment.

This project also includes 27,000 SF of office space, including a Regional Operations Center, where Halliburton/Sperry Drilling executives can monitor the progress of each of their drilling platforms around the world, in real time.
